No baptism for you!

I just heard from a Catholic friend that it may take 6 months or more to have his newborn daughter baptized. At his parish the priest only does baptisms quarterly and then only 10 at a time. I was shocked! How can you put a cap on a Sacrament? Yes, I understand doing it quarterly (they live in a very small northern town and the lone priest is up to his eyeballs in work because he's the only priest for thousands of miles) but to tell parents their child has to wait for the next "intake" is just WRONG! THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!

What do you think?
