My friend is Catholic. She has come a long way in regards to abortion since I met her. But she still voted for the socialist candidate whose party sees nothing wrong with gay "marriage", contraception and abortion. I wouldn't call her a "cafeteria" Catholic, just one who still isn't quite informed and willing to assent.
She loves the socialist party because they "look after people." You know - that hokey "social justice" nonsense - when the fact is that in Canada we have no laws restricting abortion for the full nine months of pregnancy - how is that justice?
Anyway, like I said, she has come a long way but I would love to see her go all the way. Any words of wisdom you want to pass along?
