Feb. 24, 2009 - Baptism

Please keep M.R.L. in your prayers. She will be baptized at the 7:00 PM Mass Tuesday night. Please keep M. in your prayers. He's her little cousin who will also be baptized. And also please keep N.G.L. in your prayers - she will finally be Confirmed and receive her First Holy Communion.

I was asked to be "co-godmother" but found out tonight that Canon Law prohibits a child from having 2 godparents of the same sex. I am sad - I would have loved to be her godmother but as always I only want to do what is right. I will simply enjoy being part of this wonderful celebration with N.'s family and friends.

Little MRL is wearing the same baptismal dress my sons wore - it's yellowed now but I am sure it will look fine in the photos. I hope to post some photos tomorrow night. Stay tuned!
