I received a medal in the mail today. It's Our Lady of Guadalupe. How utterly appropriate as today is the 36th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.
The word anniversary seems to have connotations of celebration. Maybe observation is a better word? How about tragedy? Travesty of justice? Heinous crime? I can think of more but I don't use swear words on the blog.
